Mind bender number 2

Do you think it is better to be healthy, wealthy or wise?
Why do you think this?

Healthy
It’s better to be healthy, because you can maintain your day to day life without having to be concerned about how much your body is deteriorating and what sort of treatment is needed.
On the other hand, it is also better to be wealthy and wise because you can forecast what sort of financial difficulties you’re in and how to sort it out.
Wealthy
It can also be better to be wealthy, because you can be able to pay the necessary treatment needed if sick and be able to get someone to tutor you in the understanding of money and health.
Despite the fact that being wealthy can be good it also has its negative points for example you wouldn’t be able to make the right choices if needed and also wouldn’t have the knowledge of a healthy diet.
Wise
It is better to be wise because you are better placed to manage your health and wealth properly.
However, being wise without sufficient resources (wealth) and good health you would be unable to implement your wise ideas.
Conclusion
To conclude, Benjamin Franklin said “Early to bed early to rise makes a person healthy, wealthy and wise” I believe it very important to have all these good virtues but if you were to have a good health you can develop the knowledge to be wise and work hard to acquire the wealth.
It is therefore better to be healthy, and wisdom and wealth will flow from that.

This is a phenomenal post Michael. I enjoy how you logically weigh each of the three options and can identify their various strengths and weaknesses, but choosing one at the end rather than sitting on the fence. Your logic in each case is sound and convincing and I especially like how have structured it, finishing with an overall conclusion that even includes a quote.

Everyone can learn from the quality of this post, it is clear and well thought out; it is a classic example of sound reasoning and exactly the sort of thing I had hoped to get on the blog.

The bar has been set by this post. Well done!

I think it's better to be wise so we can take care of our health carefully and get a good job with a good salary so being wise could also make you wealthy and healthy.

Wise
I think this is the most important because being wise you can get a job and earn money and when you have enough cash to pay for medicine to cure your sickness (if there is a cure), finally you can have a normal life and live with ease.

Looks as though wisdom is the popular choice at the moment. Is there no one who thinks it's better to be wealthy?

Wealthy because you can pay for the medication and you can hire a tutor!
